The 31st annual MUG conference was held at the Rewind Hotel in West Des Moines, Iowa.

Monday & Tuesday: Networking and Games

Early arrivals gathered for a meet-and-greet Monday evening. Tuesday welcomed more attendees, and many enjoyed food, games, and camaraderie at Smash Park game and recreation center in West Des Moines. Later that evening, customers and Mapcon employees mingled before a reception dinner that Johnny's Italian Steakhouse catered.

Wednesday: Keynotes, Best Practices, and User Insights

Wednesday kicked off with a welcome by Judi Carranza, MUG President, followed by a detailed, informative, and well-received presentation by George Williams of Reliability X, entitled CMMS Admin Best Practices.

Leadership Presentations and CMMS Updates

Next up were Mapcon President Joel Tesdall and Vice President Brock Prusha, speaking about updates on both the CMMS product as well as the company as a whole.

Wednesday afternoon, Mapcon Implementation/Support Specialist, John Appel, gave two presentations regarding inventory setup in MAPCON and MAPCON security.

User Success Stories: Practical MAPCON Use Cases

One of the benefits of the conference is hearing from MAPCON users themselves. Desiree Dominguez from The Garlic Company highlighted the system's scheduler. Matt Ott of Red Star Yeast spoke about preventive maintenance and MAPCON's checklist feature.

Once again, Johnny's Italian Steakhouse catered a delicious meal followed by comedian Willie Farrell.
